For the past 15 years, hundreds of caring and community-minded individuals have joined together to help improve the lives of a few of our less fortunate neighbors. Donning work clothes and grabbing hammers, paintbrushes, crowbars and assorted other tools, our volunteers descend on homes across the greater Belgrade/Bozeman/Four Corners/Gallatin Gateway area to complete projects ranging from window replacement to new decks and stairs. The projects improve health, safety, energy efficiency, and quality of life for our Fix-Up Festival recipients.
In 2020, to eliminate the chance of spreading the COVID-19 virus, Rotarians and our Adopter Partners shifted to fixing leaky roofs instead, starting another service called ‘Roof Over Your Head’. Starting in 2022, we returned to in-home repairs though we still help with roofing issues on some projects on a more limited basis.
The 2024 Fix-Up Festival will take place on Saturday September 21.
Applications for 2024 consideration are now being accepted, due by no later than March 31, 2024.
